Our Story

We are often reminded that moments are fleeting and time has no biases. While we cannot rewind the clock, it is the culmination of moments that live between the “tick and the tock”, that create the soundtrack to our lives. The Salvaged Wick was created to capture the beauty of nostalgia through the gift of scent. Whether it’s the smell of picking fresh blackberries at your Grandma’s house, the smoky bonfire reminiscent of your first kiss, or the indescribable scent that brings you right back to your first live concert.

Fast forward to today, Tiffany Dixon is a wife and mother of two living in Southern California.  When she’s not wrangling her aspiring dancer and future Wayne Gretzky, she’s sharpening her skills as an urban zookeeper.  Two dogs, two cats, a beta fish... possibly a guinea pig if she gives in to the constant pleas from her little ones.  She has a passion for home fragrance and home decor that elevates your personal ambiance.  During a time in our world like no other, she set out to create candles that lift the spirits of all those around her.  Her inspiration behind The Salvaged Wick is to remind people to slow down, reconnect with memories shared with loved ones both past and present by lighting one wick at a time.
